WARRANTY
At Edje Concrete, we stand behind the quality of our handcrafted products. We’re proud to offer our customers a warranty designed to ensure peace of mind when purchasing our concrete pieces.
Warranty Coverage
Edje Concrete warrants that our products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 24 months from the date of delivery, provided they are used in accordance with our intended purposes, installation guidelines, and Care & Maintenance instructions.
Customer Responsibilities
To make a warranty claim, customers must:

Ensure payment for the goods has been made in full.

Notify Edje Concrete of any apparent defects within five business days of discovering them.

Submit any warranty claim within the 24-month warranty period.

Allow Edje Concrete to inspect the goods at their installed or usual location.
Limitation of Warranty
This warranty applies only to defects arising during normal and intended use of our products. It does not cover issues resulting from misuse, neglect, or circumstances outside our control.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Structural or surface damage from improper use or abuse.

Discolouration or cracking resulting from:

Normal wear and tear.
-
Use beyond the product’s intended purpose.

Mishandling, impact, or physical abuse.

Excessive heat or uneven weather exposure.
-
Thermal shock from placing hot items directly on concrete surfaces.
-
Failure to follow Edje Concrete’s installation guidelines.
-
Non-compliance with Edje Concrete’s Care & Maintenance instructions.
-
Accidental damage.
-
Chips or impact damage.
-
Excessive pressure from sitting, standing, or placing heavy objects (including fireplaces without adequate support).
-
Scratches from insufficient care, such as not using cutting boards or dragging objects across the surface.
-
Stains from improper maintenance, including failing to promptly wipe spills.
-
Hairline cracks (generally <1 mm wide) that are a natural part of concrete.
-
The development of pinholes and colour variation, which are natural and expected characteristics of concrete.
-
Damage to the sealer from contact with skincare products (face wash, sunscreen, masks), hair dye, abrasive, acidic, alkaline, or chemical cleaners.

Cracking from overtightened or incorrectly installed wastes.
-
Failures due to un-level cabinetry or inadequate supports.
-
Damage to the sealer from incorrect silicone used during installation.
-
Fire, lightning, or other natural or man-made hazards.
-
Damage from physical relocation of the product.
-
Modifications, cleaning, or repairs performed by anyone other than Edje Concrete.

Transport and Installation

Products not installed or transported by Edje Concrete are done so at the customer’s own risk.

Edje Concrete cannot be held liable for any damages arising from incorrect installation or transportation by third parties.
Additional Costs
Edje Concrete is not responsible for any other costs associated with:

Plumbing or electrical works.
-
Cabinetry or structural modifications.
-
Flooring or tiling.
-
Damage to vanities or other structures during removal or reinstallation.
Handcrafted Nature of Concrete
All Edje Concrete products are individually handcrafted. Variations in colour, texture, pinholes, surface finish, and shading are inherent features of concrete and are not considered defects. Samples and showroom pieces serve as a guide only.
