PRODUCT DETAILS & CARE
Every Edje Concrete product is handcrafted and unique. Small air pockets, colour variations, and subtle imperfections are natural features of concrete, giving each piece its own character.
We use glass-fibre-reinforced concrete (GFRC), which is stronger and more flexible than traditional concrete, helping reduce the risk of cracking. Like other hard surfaces, concrete can chip if struck with a heavy object, so take care around edges and corners.
Concrete is durable and weighty. Your cabinetry must be level and able to support the weight of your benchtop. We’ll discuss support requirements with you as part of your project.
Our basins do not include a waste but are designed to suit a standard 40mm pop-up waste. The waste hole in our basins measures approximately 41mm to allow for proper fitting.
We currently offer 16 core colours. Unsure which one to choose? Order a Colour Sample to help you decide. We also offer custom colours for an additional fee. While we do our best to colour match, please note that concrete is a natural material and exact matches cannot be guaranteed.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Use a pH-neutral cleaner—warm, soapy water is best. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners that can damage the sealer.
Our products are sealed before delivery. Over time, you may want to assess and re-seal them as needed to maintain their protection, depending on use.
Yes! Concrete often darkens when wet. It will return to its original colour once dry.
We recommend using heat boards or trivets. While concrete is non-combustible, direct heat can cause surface stress and potential damage.
CUSTOM & PROJECTS
Yes—we specialise in custom concrete designs. Share your ideas with us and we’ll help bring them to life.
Absolutely! We’re happy to discuss your project and provide a free quote.
We offer installation in many areas. Installation covers the concrete elements only—plumbing, electrical work, and cabinetry preparation should be arranged separately.
We can often help arrange delivery interstate, and in many cases we can also assist with installation. Please contact us to discuss options.
